Kizhi Therapy
About this treatment
Kizhi (meaning "bundle" in Malayalam) is a Kerala-specific therapeutic technique in which warm boluses — tightly packed with medicated rice (Njavara Kizhi), herbal powders (Podikizhi), or medicinal leaves (Elakizhi) — are rhythmically applied to the body. The combination of heat, pressure, and herbal actives penetrates deeply into the joints and muscles, making this treatment exceptionally effective for inflammatory and degenerative musculoskeletal conditions. At Ayursiha, the choice of Kizhi formulation is individually prescribed based on your diagnosis and constitution.
